Actor Vijay Raghavendra’s wife Spandana passes away

Kannada actor Vijay Raghavendra’s wife, Spandana, sadly passed away in Bangkok on Sunday night due to a heart attack. She was 41 years old.

On Monday, Raghavendra’s brother, Sri Murali, shared that Spandana had been on a vacation in Thailand’s capital city with her cousins. “She went to sleep like usual but didn’t wake up. My brother is in Bangkok right now, and we’re waiting for more information,” he explained.

Family members mentioned that she had low blood pressure, which caused the heart attack and led to her passing away. Someone from the entertainment industry shared that she was supposed to come back to India on Monday and had plans to take part in a movie event.

On Monday, Congress member B K Hariprasad went to meet the family in Bengaluru. He mentioned that they’re waiting for a report after examining the body, and it’s expected to come to Bengaluru by Tuesday.

Spandana, who is the daughter of retired police officer B K Shivaram, got married to Vijay in 2007. They have a son together.

Vijay has been a part of the Kannada film world for many years, acting in movies and singing. He got a special award in 2016 for his great acting in the movie Shivayogi Sri Puttayyajja.

He also won the top prize in the first season of Bigg Boss Kannada and was a judge on a fun TV show called Dance Karnataka Dance.
