Barca’s Busquets to follow friend Messi to Inter Miami

The 34-year-old player will be joining his friend and former Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi again. He didn’t renew his contract at Barcelona after being there for 18 years.

Miami announced this news by sharing a video on social media. The video included quotes from famous people like Pep Guardiola, Xavi Hernandez, Luka Modric, and Messi himself, all praising Busquets.

Busquets, who used to be the captain of Barcelona and retired from playing for his country last year, played more than 700 games for Barcelona. During his time there, he won nine LaLiga titles, seven Copa del Rey titles, three Champions League trophies, and three Club World Cups.

There were also rumors about Busquets potentially moving to the Saudi Arabian league, as teams like Al Hilal and Al Nassar made offers for him.

Miami is interested in signing another former Barcelona player as well. They are looking to bring in left-back Jordi Alba.
