What is the plot of Black Adam?

The official description of “Black Adam” goes like this: “About 5,000 years after he got the powerful abilities from ancient gods – and got locked away just as quickly – Black Adam (played by Johnson) is set free from where he was trapped, and he’s ready to bring his own kind of fairness to the world today.”

During the movie, we learn that Teth-Adam gets his powers in the same way as “Shazam!” does (in case you’re not into comic books), and we learn how that moment happens and why he’s chosen. There’s a really cool plot twist here that we won’t spoil, but it’s exciting.

Once Teth-Adam is awakened, Amanda Waller (played by Viola Davis) tells the Justice Society to catch him so she can lock him up forever. The team goes to Kahndaq to catch the Man in Black, but they face a lot of strong resistance because Teth-Adam’s powers are extraordinary.

Eventually, a bigger threat appears, and Black Adam has to defeat Sabbac, a bad guy who gets his powers from six demons from Hell (Satan, Aym, Belial, Beelzebub, Asmodeus, and Crateis).
