Buniyaad actor Mangal Dhillon passes away

Actor-writer Mangal Dhillon passed away on Sunday in Ludhiana, Punjab. He had been battling cancer. His family members shared the sad news on his social media accounts.

The note posted by his family said, “Today, our dear Mangal Dhillon has bid us all farewell. May Waheguru bless him and grant him a place in the heavenly abode.”

Actor Yashpal Sharma confirmed that Mangal Dhillon had been unwell for a while. He was admitted to a Cancer Hospital in Ludhiana, where he passed away this morning. Yashpal Sharma also expressed his condolences on social media, writing, “Mangal Dhillon ji RIP.”

Mangal Dhillon started his career in the theater in Punjab and went on to work in several TV shows and films. Some of his notable works include Buniyaad, Junoon, Khoon Bhari Maang, and Vishwatma, among others. His latest appearance was in the Doordarshan series Noorjahan.
