Escape the Night Season 5 Release Date
Season 4 of “Escape the Night” made its debut on YouTube Premium on July 11, 2019, and wrapped up with the final episode on September 4, 2019. The earlier seasons, 1, 2, and 3, have collectively garnered over 20 million, 26 million, and 12 million views since their respective premieres. This impressive viewership has solidified the series’ status as one of the most triumphant YouTube original shows.
Given the fantastic response from viewers, it wouldn’t be a shock if the show got renewed for more seasons. Even though there hasn’t been an official announcement yet, we can make a pretty good guess about the release schedule for next year.
Escape the Night Plot
Joey Graceffa, playing the role of The Savant, throws a unique party at a historical estate. He asks all his guests to dress and behave like famous people from that era. They’re completely isolated from the outside world and have just one night to find a way out of the estate safely. To achieve this, the guests team up with Joey, tackling escape room puzzles and challenges. Together, they aim to solve these mysteries and make their escape from the historical era as swiftly as they can.
At the end of every episode, the guests who are still in the game vote to send one of their fellow contestants back to the present day. They do this by having them compete in a contest, and the unfortunate participant who loses is portrayed as being “fictionally killed off” in the story.

Escape the Night Season 5: Why was it canceled?
The making of Season 5 of “Escape the Night” has hit a pause button for now. Unfortunately, it won’t be airing in the summer of 2020 as originally planned, all because of the coronavirus situation. Joey Graceffa, in a video for his new vlog channel posted on August 25, 2019, shared his excitement about Season 5 and the interest from both himself and the audience.
