Gold Rush 2023 Cast: Meet the Real People In Season 14

In Gold Rush Season 14, a bunch of miners are back to try and get lucky in 2023. The show is all about families mining for gold in the Klondike region of Dawson City, Yukon, Canada, and Alaska.
It first came out on December 3, 2010, on the Discovery Channel. Season 14 started on Discovery+ on September 29, 2023.

Parker Schnabel
Parker Schnabel, who’s been part of Gold Rush since Season 1, has been in more than 200 episodes of the show. He’s a mining pro and has already mined over $13 million worth of gold.
In Season 14, Schnabel faces a big choice. He has to decide if he wants to take a risk and mine a new area full of gold or play it safe and take a break. It’s a tough decision for him.
Tony Beets
Tony Beets, a super successful miner in the Klondike, joined Gold Rush in Season 2. In Season 14, he’s got a big goal. The trailer showed that he wants to top his last record of getting 5,300 ounces of gold (worth $9 million) by aiming for 6,000 ounces. And he’s planning to do it in the Indian River area.
Rick Ness
Rick Ness is back in Gold Rush Season 14 after taking a break from mining and not being in Season 13.
In a September 2023 interview with People, Ness opened up about dealing with depression during his time off, mentioning that there were a lot of things happening.
The Season 14 trailer revealed that Rick Ness is on a mission for redemption, but the downside is that he doesn’t have enough resources to make a comeback. Tough times for Ness.
Fred Dodge
Fred “Freddy” Dodge started as a guest star in the first two Gold Rush seasons but became a regular in Season 3. With over 40 years of mining experience, he’s been a consistent presence on the show.
Apart from Gold Rush, Dodge also stars in his own series, Gold Rush: Freddy Dodge’s Mine Rescue, which started on January 3, 2021. In the spinoff, Dodge assists struggling mine owners, helping them recover and plan for better gold recovery.
Chris Doumitt
Chris Doumitt, a seasoned miner, started with the Hoffman Crew before joining the Parker Crew. He’s known as one of the most trusted and reliable members of the team.
Chris has been happily married to his wife, Sharon, for 45 years, and they have two children together.
Outside of mining, Chris enjoys fishing, playing golf, and even trying his hand at winemaking. Quite the diverse set of interests!
Roger Schnabel
Roger Schnabel, Peter’s dad, is a part owner of the Big Nugget Mine. He’s been a steadfast and reliable ally for Peter throughout the entire run of Gold Rush on TV. Family teamwork at its finest!
Brian Zaremba
Rick Ness counts Brian Zaremba as one of his closest friends. This seasoned miner, originally from Wisconsin, has a wife and two furry companions.
In addition to his success in gold mining, Brian brings 20 years of construction experience to the table. He’s got quite the well-rounded background!
Mitch Blaschke
Mitch Blaschke started out as the mechanic for the Hoffman Crew before making the switch to the Parker Crew in Season 5, along with Gene Cheeseman.
Being a self-trained mechanic, Blaschke played a crucial role in keeping Parker Crew’s washplants running smoothly. His expertise contributed to the team consistently hitting impressive gold records. Quite the valuable addition to the crew!
Nancy Schnabel
Nancy Schnabel is Parker’s mom and Roger Schnabel’s wife. She made her first appearance in Gold Rush Season 2. Keeping it all in the family!
Tyson Lee
Tyson Lee is a miner and the rock truck driver for the Parker Crew, having joined the team in Season 6. He plays a key role in keeping things moving for the crew. Teamwork makes the dream work!
Minnie Beets
Minnie Beets is Tony’s wife, and they’ve been married for 25 years. She takes care of the accounts for the family business at Paradise Hill and serves as the spokesperson for Gorilla Cookies. A multitasking powerhouse!
Mike Beets
Mike Beets, one of Tony and Minnie’s sons, is the supervisor of Paradise Hill. In addition to his work, Mike has an interesting hobby—he’s a medieval recreationist. Mixing work and play with a medieval twist!
Monica Beets
Monica Beets is Tony and Minnie’s daughter and Mike’s sister. She’s part of the team at Paradise Hill. Monica is married to Taylor Mayes, making it a family affair at work and home. Talk about keeping it all in the family!
Len Hoekstra
Len Hoekstra is a friend of Tony Beets, and Tony often brings him in for special tasks like changing an impeller on the barge or working in the dredge. Teamwork with a touch of expertise!
Morgan Lauren
Gold Rush Season 14 welcomes a new face, Morgan Lauren. She’s part of Rick Ness’ crew, handling equipment and working as a gold washer.
Before diving into mining, Morgan spent a decade as an oil field equipment operator. Quite the career switch!
