IRCTC Ticket Booking: IRCTC site back online after facing technical glitches for few hours

IRCTC Ticket Booking: The Indian Railways’ e-ticketing website called IRCTC had some problems and was not working for a few hours because of technical issues. But now, it’s back online and working again.

While the website was down, people were not able to book tickets there. But the good news is, during that time, they could still book tickets through other online travel agencies like MakeMyTrip and Amazon. The IRCTC team fixed the problem, and now everything is back to normal.

Due to technical reasons, the ticketing service is not available on IRCTC site and App. Technical team of CRIS is resolving the issue.

Alternatively tickets can be booked through other B2C players like Amazon, Makemytrip etc.

At 8 am, the IRCTC website and app were not working properly.

During that time, people couldn’t book tickets, and some of them faced an issue where money was deducted from their accounts even though the booking wasn’t successful.

It’s not clear yet if the Indian Railways will give the money back to the people who tried to book tickets but couldn’t. We’ll have to wait for more information to know what will happen.
