Katee Sackhoff: While many of the major Chapter 11 revelations have been made over the months, there is no doubt that this live Star Wars show has proven, and will continue to prove, that these rumors are true. Han Solo stands in front of us and says, “… it’s true. Everything.”
Welcome to Bo-Katan Kryze! The character first appeared in Star Wars: The Clone Wars reappeared in Star Wars Rebels and then reappeared in Season 7 of Clone Wars. Now she has moved from animation to live-action and Katee Sackhoff is still playing.
That’s not the case. It never happens. Closest to it is Saw Gerrera, who has been on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story since season 5 of The Clone Wars, but even there Andrew Kishino voiced the animated series and Forest Whitaker took over. Live-action (and after all the animation afterward). In this case, not only is a character created for an animated series that allows the jump into live-action, but it is also played by the actor himself. A veteran of Battlestar Galactica (and many other series), Sackhoff proves to be as perfect in live-action as Bo-Katan is when he moved.

It’s a game-changer in every way, a big moment for the connection between Star Wars animation and live-action, and of course a big step forward for Bo-Katan. Ordinarily, that reveal on its own would be more than enough for an episode … but the newest addition to House Kryze came with a number of other revelations. Thanks, Starbuck! What are you listening to right now?
Why do the Mandalors in this series have a strict code to never take their helmets off while others (like Bo-Katan) have no problem taking them off whenever they want? It turns out that our main command (Pedro Pascal) is part of a fragmented group called “Los Niños de la Guardia” and they are trying to restore the entire culture in an ancient way. The slogan “this is the way” now has a somewhat terrible meaning.
Bo-Katan speaks of ancient ways and refers to the governor of Mandalore as “The Mandalore”. This is a deep snippet from the Star Wars Legends books and an important redefinition of the leaderboard.
Katee Sackhoff: The Mandalorian
She’s trying to put someone (probably herself) in this role, but she needs a specific object to do it. We saw this object in the hands of Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito). And soon Bo-Katan will be naming Darksaber in this episode. The only lamp that can bring it all together. He goes on to say that he got it from him, while also confirming that the “big sell-off” that is often referred to in this series came after the events of the Star Wars rebels and before the fall of the Empire. You and Moff Gideon were heavily involved in this event and don’t seem to be on the same sewing cycle.
Ain’t that enough for you Well, because this chapter isn’t finished yet. Our command is in search of the Jedi and we know that Bo-Katan had many connections with them. For her, I’m not a mythical group of magicians, she worked with them. We saw him work with one recently now that I think about it! In the seventh season of The Clone Wars, he fought against Ahsoka Tano.
Ahsoka’s appearance in The Mandalorian is arguably the most debated of all rumors. And while Lucasfilm has never confirmed it. Bo-Katan continues to confirm it in this episode. He takes Manto out on the street to visit Ahsoka and tells him to tell him that Bo-Katan sent him.
Yes, mention the name, Ahsoka Tano.
It’s now a safe bet that Ahsoka Tano will hit the scene this season. While this is another example of a moving character making the leap into live-action, it will be a little different. All of the rumors have shown that Rosario Dawson will take on the role. Which means that Ashley Eckstein, the actor who created the character, will unfortunately not jump to Sackhoff.
Mind blown and overwhelmed by this entire experience. It all started a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away and I’m so excited by the response to my girl Bo-Katan. I hope you all love her as much as I do. 💙💙💙💙💙💙 This Is The Way #mandolorian

It’s a shame, but now there is no way to get over it. Bo-Katan leaving the name almost guarantees Tano will appear. Everything we’ve heard (so far) about this season has turned out to be true (Timothy Olyphant and Temuera Morrison are in attendance, hey guys). Now it looks like Dawson is about to show up with Togruta. The full makeup is really inevitable.
