Desselle-Reid was best known for her roles on “Madea’s Big Happy Family”, “B * A * P * S” and “How to Be Def Jam Player”.

She played Janie Egins for three seasons on the television show “Eve”.

“B * A * P * S,” co-star Halle Berry said she was “completely heartbroken” by Desselle-Reid’s death.


“Natalie taught us to love, joy, and humor through her characters. She could never dim the lights and was contagious.
