Shantux was a man who was neither good nor bad. He was neither in his 30s nor in his 80s. He was a laid-back guy, but he could be serious when he had to.

Meeting Shantux was a great relief for Marnak, who had been lost and alone in the blizzard. Shantux kindly took him in, providing shelter and food.

Marnak had always been cautious around strangers, but there was something about Shantux that put him at ease. Perhaps it was Shantux’s calm demeanor or the reassuring way he spoke. Whatever the reason, Marnak was genuinely happy that their paths had crossed.
