The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has published the TNEA rank list for 2023 today. If you have registered for the exam, you can visit the official website tneaonline.org to check and download your rank list.
To access the TNEA rank list, you need to log in to the portal using your registered email address and password. The Board has also made the rank list available as a PDF file on their website under the Rank details section.
TNEA 2023 is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering courses (B.Tech courses) in Tamil Nadu institutes. Once the TNEA registration and counselling process are completed successfully, the allotment of B.Tech seats to the candidates will be done.
Steps to check TNEA Rank List 2023
- Visit official website tneaonline.org
- Go to the Login tab and enter registered email addresses and password
- The TNEA rank list will appear on the screen
- Download and check the status
- Take a printout for future reference
Candidates who have been selected in the TNEA rank list can participate in online counselling. The counselling process will be conducted in two stages: special categories counselling and general counselling.
General counselling involves several steps. First, candidates need to participate in online counselling for academic and vocational courses. Then, they have to make an initial deposit of the registration fee.
After that, they can fill in their choices for preferred courses and colleges. A tentative allotment list will be published, indicating the possible seat allocation.
Candidates need to confirm their preferred allotment option and finalize the institution. However, the specific branch or specialization will be decided by the TNEA authorities.
Finally, students must report to the institution where they have been provisionally allotted.
It’s important to note that only candidates who are shortlisted and included in the rank list can proceed with the online counselling process.
