On Monday, Elon Musk, the boss of Twitter, shared a picture of the company’s headquarters with its new logo – X. He had previously tweeted that the social media company would be changing its logo soon. Mr. Musk said, “If we get a good enough X logo tonight, we’ll make it live for everyone around the world tomorrow,” in a tweet on Saturday.
About six months after Elon Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion, he combined the company with another one called X Corp. He believes that Twitter will help make a new app called X that can do lots of different things.

Linda Yaccarino, who became the CEO of Twitter over a month ago, also shared the picture of Twitter headquarters with the new logo.
Mr. Musk has also updated his profile picture to the X logo. This was his way of letting everyone know that “X is live.”
Some users had interesting reactions. One person commented, “He was actually serious. Now I understand why rich people buy existing companies instead of starting from scratch.”
Another user congratulated Elon and mentioned, “I’ll miss the bird, but I guess this is a big step towards something you’ve wanted to create for a long time. I hope everything falls into place just as you envision.”
Ever since Mr. Musk bought Twitter for a huge amount of $44 billion last October, the company’s advertising business has faced some problems. Many marketers didn’t like how the company fired many people all at once, and they also didn’t like Mr. Musk’s way of running things.
To deal with this, the billionaire boss of SpaceX, Mr. Musk, has decided to try something new. He’s now looking into adding payment and shopping features to Twitter. This way, the platform can find other ways to make money and bring in new revenue.
