Today, Xiaomi is going to release a new tablet called Xiaomi Pad 6 in India. It’s the next version after the Xiaomi Pad 5, which recently became cheaper by Rs 1,000. The Xiaomi Pad 5 was the first tablet that Xiaomi brought to India. At the same event, Xiaomi will also introduce the Redmi Buds 4 Active TWS earbuds. You can buy the Redmi Buds 4 Active on Amazon.

Xiaomi Pad 6 expected price in India
In China, the Xiaomi Pad 6 is available in three different storage options. The version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage costs CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 23,000). The variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at CNY 2,399 (around Rs 24,000). Lastly, the version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage also costs CNY 2,399 (around Rs 27,500).
In India, it is expected that the Xiaomi Pad 6 will be priced below Rs 30,000.
Xiaomi Pad 6 expected specifications
The Xiaomi Pad 6 is expected to have a big 11-inch screen with an LCD display. The screen can refresh really fast, up to 144 times per second, and can get very bright at 550 nits. It might also have special features like HDR10+ and Dolby Vision to make the picture look even better. To protect the screen from scratches, it could have a tough Corning Gorilla Glass 3 covering.
Inside, the Xiaomi Pad 6 is likely to have a Snapdragon 870 chip that makes it run smoothly. It could have up to 8GB of RAM to help with multitasking and 128GB of storage for keeping lots of files and apps.
When it comes to taking pictures, the tablet might have a 50-megapixel camera on the back and a 2-megapixel camera on the front for video calls or selfies.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 is expected to come with the latest MIUI 14 software, which is based on the new Android 13 system. That means it will have all the latest features and updates right out of the box.
Redmi Buds 4 Active expected specifications, features
The TWS earbuds are going to have special Bass Pro drivers that make the sound extra powerful. They will also have a feature called Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) that helps reduce background noise. When you want to connect them to your device, they will pair up quickly.
To charge them, you will use a Type-C port, which is the same kind of charging port that many phones and other devices have. The earbuds might be able to work for up to 28 hours before you need to charge them again.
You will have two color options to choose from: black and white.
