Percy Jackson and the Olympians came out on Disney+ and Hulu a few hours earlier than expected. The remaining six episodes will be released officially every week.
The Percy Jackson show on Disney+ names each episode after chapters in The Lightning Thief, the first Percy Jackson book. Episodes 1 and 2 are called “I Accidentally Vaporize My Pre-Algebra Teacher” and “I Become Supreme Lord of the Bathroom.” In the second week, fans can watch Episode 3, titled “We Visit the Garden Gnome Emporium.”
When Will Percy Jackson Episode 3 Release?
The third episode of Percy Jackson and the Olympians will be available on Disney+ at 9:00 p.m. ET on December 26. It’s the third out of eight episodes in Season 1. Each episode will continue to release at the same time on Tuesday nights until the season concludes in late January.
The remaining episodes’ schedule is as follows:
- Episode 3: December 26 at 9 p.m. ET
- Episode 4: January 2 at 9 p.m. ET
- Episode 5: January 9 at 9 p.m. ET
- Episode 6: January 16 at 9 p.m. ET
- Episode 7: January 23 at 9 p.m. ET
- Episode 8: January 30 at 9 p.m. ET
Changing the release time from 3:00 a.m. ET to the earlier 9:00 p.m. ET is a strategic move by Disney+. This adjustment allows families to watch the new episodes together since the show is suitable for all ages. The goal is to maximize the series’ audience and increase overall awareness.
What Will Percy Jackson Episode 3 Be About?
In the next episode of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, fans can expect the first appearance of Jessica Parker Kennedy’s Medusa. Percy, Annabeth, and Grover will begin their quest to the Underworld. The post-credit teaser from episode two hints at this, along with the title, “We Visit the Garden Gnome Emporium.”
Viewers will also get a sneak peek into the hidden secrets of the Empire State Building. In the Percy Jackson books, this iconic New York City tower serves as the location of Mount Olympus. To reach the gods’ home, one must reach the building’s 600th floor.
The footage at the end of episode two reveals Luke Castellan’s winged sneakers, a significant moment as he gifts them to Percy before his quest.
